Portfolios has just launched its redesigned Web site www.hershchadha.com promoting the artist Hersh Chadha.

Hersh Chadha is no ordinary photographer. With an avid passion for nature, his camera captures the environment in all its capriciousness and the results are stunning art photographs. Hersh has traveled to various parts of the world and has photographed a variety of landscapes in varied settings. His collection includes the towering ranges of the Himalayas, the tropical paradises of Maldives and Seychelles, the lush valleys and hills of Nepal, the lone stretches of Alaska, the pristine stillness of the Carpathian mountains and the exotic countryside of America and Europe. Some of his breathtaking photographs can be viewed on the Web site.

Hersh says that he is inspired by colour, light or shape when he photographs a setting and does not believe in using filters or any artificial enhancements.

Hersh has authored Elements I, II & III, a collection of photographic books that display nature in its many moods. A keen conservationists the proceeds

from the sales of Elements has been donated to the World Wide Fund for Nature. Elements can also be found in the prestigious libraries of Harvard, Stanford and Museum of Modern Art, New York!

The first book, Elements is based on the Middle East, The second book,Elements I is devoted to Nepal. The third book Elements II of this collection , meanders through the emerald enchantment of the Maldives islands. The fourth book Elements III showcases the flora of the Maldives which gives its own unique touch to the beautiful islands.

Cutting across cultural barriers, Hersh is widely appreciated in Ukraine. An active member of the Union of Photoartists, Ukraine Hersh was recently honoured by being conferred the title of Honorary Professor of Photography by the Institute of Journalism, at Kiev, Ukraine.

Hersh is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from where he runs diverse business activities in Dubai and India. Hersh is also a philanthropist and contributes generously to various charities. He is an avid reader, keen economist and collects objects d'art.
